Terms

Draft

These cover the free tools, which is all that currently exists. A full set with a named trading entity follows before anything is sold.

We do not promise your data will come down
A broker can refuse an erasure request on the grounds in Article 17(3) of the UK GDPR, and some will. What we provide is a correctly grounded request, an accurate deadline, and the escalation route when that deadline is missed. Anyone promising an outcome that sits with a third party is selling you something they cannot deliver.
This is not legal advice
NoDossier is not a law firm and nobody here is acting as your solicitor. The legal statements on this site trace to published ICO guidance, which is linked wherever it is relied on, and that guidance is currently under review following the Data (Use and Access) Act. If your situation is contested or high stakes, get advice from someone qualified to give it.
The free tools are provided as they are
They run in your browser, they are free, and they come with no warranty. If your browser loses the data, we cannot recover it, because we never had a copy. Download your tracker if it matters to you.
You send the requests, so you are responsible for them
In the free tier you are the one contacting the broker, from your own mailbox, about your own data. Do not use these tools to make requests about anybody else. A request in someone else's name is not a data subject request, and it will be refused and may be unlawful.
The register is free to reuse
Take it, quote it, build on it, commercially or otherwise. Attribution is welcome and not required. It is offered in good faith and checked on the dates shown, and it comes with no warranty either.
We will tell you when these change
These terms are a draft and will be replaced by a full set before any paid tier opens. Changes that affect what we do with your data will be stated on this page rather than quietly deployed.
